Standard delivery is usually within 3-5 working days although at busier times of the season this can increase to 7-10 days. If you require a specific day for delivery we’ll do our upmost to accommodate, please call our sales team to discuss delivery options.
After placing your order a member of our team will be in contact to book in your delivery, please note that dates given are estimated dates that we aim for. On rare occasions, unforeseen circumstances can cause delays. However, we strive to meet your designated delivery date and will notify you if this cannot be met.
Cheshire plants are not liable for any costs due to late delivery and will always endeavour to get your delivery made on the arranged date or as soon as possible thereafter.
Some of our deliveries are sent via a Pallet Network Courier. The plants are carefully packed onto pallets and will usually arrive on a 7.5 ton lorry with a tail lift. The driver will unload the plants using the tail lift and a pallet truck.
Pallet deliveries are usually to a kerbside location. This can only be done where there is hard standing and cannot be done on gravel, grass or up steep slopes.
Sometimes we encounter problems with pallet deliveries, this is usually due to access restrictions, overhanging branches on the approach to a property, Narrow roads and low bridges, If you think there could be a problem due to access or have any concerns about accommodating such a vehicle, please contact us to discuss prior to ordering.
If drivers are unable to make delivery on the specified day due to customer fault and your delivery has to be rescheduled then a small re delivery charge will sometimes be charged.
We inspect plants carefully before dispatch but accept that very occasionally things may go wrong.
If you have ANY discrepancies with your order we ask that you notify us within 48 hours of your delivery/collection date and that plants are NOT planted until any disputes are resolved. We cannot accept disputes for short deliveries or damages unless reported to us within 48 Hours of Delivery date.
You can return your plants (within 7 days of receiving your order) and we’ll help with the process of returning, we can advise on how to look after the plants until they are returned. Hedging Plants are perishable and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the plants are looked after until they are returned safely to the nursery)
If you’d like to return your plants because of a change of plan or if we do not agree that the plants are significantly damaged (the loss of a few leaves in transit or a loose pot on arrival, for example, wouldn't be harmful to the plants), then we may ask you to pay the full or partial return costs if you still wanted to return them. We’re very reasonable and always aim for complete customer satisfaction using a common sense approach.
Should you wish to return any products that you have over-bought, no longer require or purchased in error, you will incur both a return cost (different charges for pallets and boxes) and/ or the original cost of delivery incurred by Cheshire Plants. Please contact us for charges and/or to organise a return. Plants will be subject to a quality control check from our Nursery upon return before any refund is authorised and processed.
